Kidney Bot

Kidney Bot is a discord bot created by Alec Jensen. It was created to solve the problem of needing dozens of bots that all do different things. Kidney Bot is open source under the GNU GPLv3 license.

History

Version 1

Version 1 of Kidney Bot was very rudimentary and didn't work well. Version 1 was lost due to HDD failure.

Version 2

Version 2 of Kidney Bot was created quickly to get it back up after the loss of version 1. Version 2 was coded a little better and also featured a new economy system with loads of features. This was also when Kidney Bot was made publicly available. Version 2 was lost because of RAID misconfiguration.

Version 3

Version 3 of Kidney Bot is the version that exists today in the GitHub repository. It was created while keeping in mind stability and maintainability. Version 3 has undergone many changes from the simple codebase it started from, making the code today almost indistinguishable from the original code.
