What do I run on my servers? Well, I run 2 servers. I originally had one server, named debian. When I got a second server, I also put Debian on it, but decided to call it storageserver because I put a 6tb HDD in it.

debian

  • Ghost
    • I use Ghost for my blog
  • Grafana
    • I currently don't use Grafana for anything, but I plan to set up some dashboards to visualize kidney bot statistics.
  • Homarr
    • I use this to keep track of all of my services and where to access them.
  • kidney bot
    • kidney bot is my discord bot.
  • MediaWiki
    • MediaWiki powers this wiki.
  • MeshCentral
    • I use MeshCentral to be able to remotely access not only my computer, but also my siblings if they ever have issues.
  • Nginx Proxy Manager
    • I tried lots of reverse proxies, and none of them were as simple and straight forward as NPM. I can set up a new host in about a minute. Really love this one.
  • Portainer
    • Portainer is useful for viewing the status of my Docker containers (I run everything through Docker) and viewing logs.
  • Jexactyl (Pterodactyl fork) along with Wings
    • I love playing Minecraft with my friends and Jexactyl makes it much easier to set up a new server.
  • Wazuh
    • I use Wazuh to monitor my family's cyber security.
  • OpenVPN
    • Remote access to my home network.
  • Shadowsocks
    • My school has figured out how to block OpenVPN, so I have started using Shadowsocks to access my server from school.

storageserver

  • Collabora
    • I use Collabora to edit my documents on Nextcloud.
  • Nextcloud
    • By far my favorite service that I self host. I have all of my devices sync their files to my server. I've set up the recogize plugin to be able to search by people or by the subject of the image. I also use Nextcloud for things like anonymous forms, sharing files, tracking my phone, and sharing secrets.
  • Wings
    • This is just another wings node that connects to Jexactyl on the debian server.
